The MSc programme will provide engineers with the technical competences needed to design solutions to deliver safe/clean water. The programme will also give opportunities to students to study the economics and management of large projects. Key features of this programme include a focus on the understanding and use of modern hydraulic modelling tools, real-world engineering design problems and group project work.

The ME in Civil Engineering is a broad design-focussed Level 9 programme tailored to meet the needs of a progressive modern Civil Engineering practice. It has also been designed to satisfy the educational requirements for progression to Chartered Engineer status. Students will strengthen their core knowledge with modules on a range of advanced Civil Engineering topics, while improving their versatility and leadership potential as engineers through modules on transferable skills and professional development. An Integrated Design team project, with support from practising engineers, is an unique feature of the programme.
